Good movie that makes a good point. Did anyone notice the implementation of gun control in this movie? The people could carry guns and use them for self-defense against criminals. However the guns were very short range shotguns and were only good for stopping petty criminals. The low level cops had single action pistols that were decidedly better than the citizen's shotgun. The top level cops had machine guns and were basically gods due to the superior firepower. In this movie the cops were all controlled by a future Mafia. So guess what, the citizen was a slave even though they had the right to keep and bear arms. The relevance to the nation's current situation is too obvious to mention. It clearly shows what lies ahead if gun control advocates get their way.
